Magnolia is a skill development platform designed for workforce entrants eager to explore and advance their creative hobbies. It provides tools and resources to help users build confidence and mastery in their craft, fostering both personal and professional growth. As a UX Designer, I contributed to research, strategy, and interface design, ensuring an intuitive and engaging user experience.

This screen will allow the user to see their close friend activity at a glance. Green leaves represent recent activity and gray leaves represent friends that have been inactive for a while. From here they can access their close friends profile and see what they have made recently or nudge inactive friends to motivate them to get back to making progress. They can also get to seeing all of their friends, editing their close friends and finding new friends.

The onboarding process will guide the user through a series of steps that will allow them to define their interests, schedule for making progress in their projects and what projects they want to work on. This is where the chain supply aspect of the ecosystem comes into play and the user will receive the necessary materials

Under the seed part of the global navigation, the user can access their lessons on the selected hobbies of interest. When they access each separate hobby, there will be a map of progressive lessons defined for the user that will allow them to improve continuously over time. Each lesson will contain step by step instructions to complete each of their projects.

Branch out: Community events that are open to everyone, providing an open space for connection

Treemix: A space to find people for creative collaborations
